League City Music Festival & BBQ Cook-Off

May is National Barbecue Month, and the League City Music Festival and Barbecue Cook-off will be jamming! On Friday, May 5th, and Saturday, May 6, Walter Hall Park will be filled with the sounds of music and the smells of Texas barbecue. The IBCA Sanctioned Cook-off will feature competition in the following categories: brisket, chicken, ribs, beef fajitas, chicken fajitas, and chili. Over $2,000 in prizes will be awarded, with the Beef Fajita, Chicken Fajita, and the Best of Show taking home 60 percent of the jackpot.

The Vintage Village Fair Parade will take place on Saturday, along with the competition judging. Musical guests will include Tracy Byrd, Jake Worthington, The Hunger, Eric Paslay, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Mike and the Moonpies, and Fred Rusk and the Zydeco Hi-Steppers.
